Our grandfather was Imraan Ederies. He was Andrew, a revert
from Wellington C.P.
He died on 18 March 1914.
Our grandmother was Rageema (nee Abrahams).
She died 21 January 1929.
In this family there were 7 brothers and 4 sisters:
1. Ebrahim – changed his surname tp Andrews, Loder street
2. Fatima
3. Achmat – Nickname Katoet, changed his surname to Abrahams
4. Galiema – the mother of Tiema Booley, lived in Hout Bay
5. Jalaludien – died before age 20, unmarried – age 3yrs
6. Ismail – died before age 20, unmarried
7. Gamiedoen
8. Tape – father of Aunty Gay, Ollie, Mylie etc
9. Mogamat – Pikkie, father of Yesmiena, Yususf, Lyga – lived in Lion street.
10. Mymoena – died in infancy
11. Mariam – died in infancy, age 1 year
