Welcome to Cape Origins.
There are far too few written records of the history of Malays (also referred to as coloureds) living in Cape Town.This collection aims to give a glimpse into the lives of those who lived in the early days of Apartheid, sharing tales of their youth, teens and adult years, their struggles, their enjoyment and their loves.
Stories are kept as authentic as possible with links to historical figure, events and geographical locations.
